The Desna hardware and software complex manufactured by Bryansk Electrotechnical Plant LLC is a ready-made solution designed to collect and process information from electric energy distribution and conversion facilities. Data transmission is carried out according to GOST R MEC standard 60870-5-104-2004. It is possible to collect, process and transmit data in accordance with the MEC 61850 MMS protocol. Part of the Desna hardware and software complex is a dispatching cabinet (hereinafter VARNET-SD) designed for data collection and primary processing in order to provide remote monitoring of the object; it is possible to issue control actions generated automatically by the cabinet, according to the cabinet algorithm, or received remotely from the dispatcher's workplace.

The VARNET-SD cabinet is a ready-made device, the main element of which is the multifunctional controller PR0100-KM-E4R2. The cabinet implements the following functions:
• Collection and preprocessing of discrete status signals of switching devices (on/off) of the primary substation network;
• Control of unauthorized access to internal equipment;
• Collection of basic meter readings via RS-485 and subsequent transmission of information to the ASKUE servers;
• Notification of emergency equipment shutdown, failures and emergency situations via SMS alerts;
• Own WEB server with the display of the main parameters of the technological process;
• Transmission of GOST R MEC data 60870-5-104-2004 or MEK 61850 MMS.

In VARNET-SD, the function of a DEV server is implemented with the display of data processed by the controller in the form of a SALA system. At the same time, the controller also transmits data to external SDA systems according to the specified transmission mode: tag table and data transmission protocol (ModBUS, IEC-104, etc.).
To access the interface of the built-in SDA system, it is enough for the user to have one of the standard browsers on a computer, tablet or phone. No other software is required.
As part of the primary service package included in the delivery package, a SIM card is supplied with the communication settings already made, communication parameters, IP Address, etc. parameters are already configured at the manufacturer.
