Accounting and partitioning points (recloser with commercial accounting function)

When connecting new consumers to existing electric networks, distribution and electric grid companies require the presence of commercial accounting facilities and protection devices for outgoing lines at the borders of the balance sheet. This requirement is justified by the existing rules of accounting for electric energy and technical requirements for uninterrupted supply of consumers with electric energy. Metering and partitioning points (PUS) are designed to operate in overhead distribution networks of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz with a rated voltage of 6 or 10 kV.

The use of PUS allows:

  • to increase the reliability of the power supply of a separate feeder, by partitioning emergency sections of the line, without affecting the supply of other consumers;

  • to perform remote (from the dispatcher's console) switching on/off of consumers via the GPRS/GSM channel of the GSM modem built into the recloser or USPD (data collection and transmission devices);

  • integrate into the current automated process control system as a lower-level subsystem, which makes it possible to monitor the position of switching devices in the electrical network, register information about its parameters and emergency events;

The point of accounting and partitioning (PUS /TER) can perform the functions of a point of commercial accounting (PKU) of electric energy consumption.

The functionality of the product allows:

  • increase the reliability of the power supply of a separate feeder;

  • to perform remote (from the dispatcher's console or from a mobile phone via SMS) switching on/off of consumers;

  • to switch off consumers when the pre-agreed consumption level is exceeded;

  • automatically disconnect the damaged area;

  • receive notification to the dispatcher console about emergency situations: protection activation, unauthorized opening of the control cabinet door and accounting.

The recloser design allows the use of switching devices from various manufacturers, including vacuum circuit breakers manufactured by «Tavrida Electric Group», «RIM Group», «Radius Automatica Group», etc.;

In the product, the Customer can order a choice of electric energy metering devices from various manufacturers: «Incotex-SK», «Micronix», «Energomera», etc.;

The design of the product includes the possibility of using microprocessor protection devices from various manufacturers, which does not prevent the recloser from being further linked to existing software complexes for collecting and storing information, information management systems, telemechanics systems, SCADA, automated control systems.
