Description
The single-sided assembly chambers of the «KSO-298» series (hereinafter KSO–298) are designed for receiving and distributing three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 6-10 kV in networks with an isolated or grounded neutral through an arc-extinguishing reactor.
They are used as part of 6 – 10kV switchgear during new construction, expansion, reconstruction and technical re-equipment of power supply facilities.
The design of the KSO-298 camera can be conditionally divided into the following compartments:
- high voltage compartment;
- cable compartment;
- relay compartment;
- busbar compartment.
The busbars are closed from the facade with a protective screen with viewing windows.

KSO-298 are designed to work indoors under the following conditions:
- altitude above sea level up to 1000 m;
- the upper operating value of the ambient temperature is not higher +45 ºС;
- the lower operating value of the ambient temperature is not lower – 45 ºС;
- the environment should not be explosive and contain conductive dust, aggressive vapors and gases, in concentrations that destroy metals and insulation (atmosphere II according to GOST 15150).
